I am feeling much better today, thank the Lord. I am not the type of person who likes to lay down and not work around my house, or at my cards. I didn't even feel like making cards; so you know I was sick.
Our puppy got bit on the face by a neighbor's dog. Well, it was swelling up worse and worse so when Jr. got home, we were able to squeeze a lot of infection and blood out of it and put peroxide on it. So hopefully she will recover better now. We just cannot afford to take her to the vet.
Preston walked down to the shop at the end of our driveway today for the 1st time since April of 2007! It was a huge accomplishment for him; but he was very tired, hot, and discouraged when he got back, because his legs were aching so bad. I told him it is because he hasn't had enough exercise. He was happy to see some of the guys in the woodworking shop and visit with them. Missie took a picture of him coming back up the driveway. I can hardly believe it has been almost a year since all of this stuff happened to Preston. When I look back now, I wonder how we ever got through that time. I know it was only God! I couldn't have made it without God and our church. Our people stood by us through it all. What people do without God or a good church home, I don't know!

Thats wonderful news - you must be thrilled. Well done Preston.
Sorry about your little dog being bit - I know what you mean about vet bills - we avoid the vet unless its a real emergency. It is so expensive......
Glad you are feeling better. Charlie still not good and had to stay off school today which is not so good as she had part of her exam today. It couldn't be helped - she couldn't have coped but they are important as she leaves school in 3 weeks.
Hopefully it will all even itself out at the end.
Take care and love to all.
Way to go Preston. Keep up the good work. I think I will walk Naomi and my grandson to the Library today. Praise the Lord for the nice weather.
Thanfully, you are feeling better.
Take care of yourself.
Poor pup, hope he gets better too!
