Well, we made it to church this a.m. but before it was all over, we wished we hadn't gone. By the church was over, it was POURING, I mean, POURING rain. Now Preston walks very slow with the cane. We knew that wouldn't work, so we went outside to get the wheelchair and the umbrella. Well, Jr. was soaked to the skin by the time we got back inside to get Preston. Then it let up a little and we went to the fellowship hall. But even then, Jr. got very wet because the way we have to get into the fellowship hall leaked in about 3 places. Anyhow, it was hard work, and then to get him into the house when we got home. We are hoping to some time get a roof for our porch! But we made it home and everyone is safely in out of the rain.
A nurse attends our church and sat beside me in the fellowship hall. She was concerned that Preston was only taking the oral antibiotics once a day. Because of his reaction and having to have the benadryl, he doesn't want to take it in the a.m. and be wiped out all day. But since he had the powerful antibiotics in the hospital for several days I am hoping he will be ok.
Our pastor preached on faith tonight. I need more faith. I just feel so exhausted in so many ways. I don't know if I will ever fully recover from the past 20 years of Preston's illnesses. It has been a long hard journey. Only God knows what we still have to face. But I need more faith to believe that He is still in control and will see us through it all.
Hope you all have had a wonderful Lord's Day.

Norma,
You are in my prayers - your journey with Preston must have had so many real hard times. You truly are an inspiration to the rest of us who take so much for granted in our lives. You are in my thoughts.
God bless you
