Here it is December, where has time gone. I just realized this a.m. I have not posted pics of our new home, where we moved to in May. I am really bad at blogging now :( Preston is doing great! He did have a cold, but other than that, he is doing well! We are so thankful for that.Missie loves Union Bible Academy. She has moved into the dorm so she won't have to drive 1 1/2 hrs/day and during winter it would have been hard. She loves living in dorm and having her friends there. She is in choir and absolutely loves that and travels when they travel. She is maintaining a B average, and that is great! It was a big switch to switch from ACE cirriculum to textbooks, but she has done very well. We love our home, and spending our first holidays in it! Will post some pics.

Hospital bound today - Saturday

Last night Preston started oozing a thick bloody mucus out of his head, and it is running down his head. I called Dr. Johnson (our own neurosurgeon is on call this weekend, yah!!) and he is admitting him. I am waiting to hear from the hospital as to where to take him. I know he will be on the TC unit this time; which is the unit for neuro patients. So that will be a new experience. They are starting him on antibiotic IV's and will take care of his head. So we are off to Greenville Memorial; at least we had 6 months rest. Will update when I can. Surgery is scheduled for Monday a.m. at 9:15. Continued prayers will be much appreciated.

You are so in my prayers - your wonderful family has been subjected to so much in the last year. You truly are a wonderful inspiration to us all. My prayers are with you all and I dearly wish that 2008 brings you some answers and also some peace in your family. May Preston have a better year, may Maisie do well at her schooling, may your husband prosper at his work but most of all may you get some much needed rest and peace of mind. My love to you all. xx

Apologies to Missie - I'm so sorry I called you Maisie. Blame it on the fact our little dog Maisie is sitting at my feet and also I must be getting old............

Hi, do I know you or did you randomly find my blog?

Thanks for the prayers and good wishes.

It is ok about Missie; she gets called a lot of different names, LOL.

You have a LOT of blogs, LOL, which one is just about your family?

Hi Norma,

I just randomly found your blog - It must have been a link from another but i cannot tell you who as I have a habit of reading a blog and saving the blogs they recommend to my favourites then looking at them at a later date.

Your story just took my breath away last night and I just wanted to tell you all how much I admire you.

You have two lovely children - Preston so brave and such a beautiful smile and Missie such an understanding and helpful daughter to you.

Re blogs I only started it late last year but have so many interests I was getting in a tangle so thought I would be better to split them out. I actually find blogging and meeting new friends by it really relaxing - I was missing something in my life and this seems to find a space just for me - hope that doesn't sound too selfish.

Our family is on 'start each day with a smile' - please feel free to visit. It hasnt got a lot of posts on it yet - I just started it around Christmas.

As always my prayers are with you and I would love to visit again soon to see how you all are.
