Well, here I am finally getting an update done. We still don't have internet at our house yet. Hopefully we will next week.
Here is a rundown of what has happened since Sept. 1st.
We left SC on Sept 1st about 10:40, and hoped to make it all the way through but didn't. At 9 p.m. we stopped at Seymour, IN and got a motel. We got into Frankfort about noon on Sept. 2nd. Since then, it has been a mad rush, not stopping much at all. I have most everything unpacked, and trying to find a place for everything. I am having a yard sale in about 2 weeks. We got rid of a lot of stuff in SC but not enough! LOL
Preston LOVES it here! He loves the pastor; Bro. Mowery is a jovial person and cuts up with Preston, and he likes the Johnson's as well. Missie is absolutely elated to be in school. She loves the school; the people are so nice, and she has made new friends! We live within walking distance of the school.
Jr. starts his new job on Monday. So we are here and settling in. Wanted to check in and let everyone know what is happening!

I am so very happy for you and glad that you all arrived safely at your new home. It is good to hear that Preston is liking the new surroundings and Missie is getting along nicely at school. You all have been in my thoughts and prayers, sorry for not posting a comment much sooner!
