Well, the flu has hit Frankfort. Some have the H1N1 flu, and some the stomach flu. At least I think there are 2 kinds of flu. Missie got sick yesterday evening and threw up all night. She was feverish during the night. Today she is very weak, and has had a headache but no fever. So we don't think it is the H1N1, but a stomach virus. But some schools have already closed to try and slow the epidemic down. It is a possibility that our school will be closed too. There are students in our school that does have H1N1. We are praying Preston won't get the stomach virus or the H1N1, both of which would probably land him in the hospital. We hope no one else in our family will get either one.
Missie and James have broken up. He is unable to attend UBC in Jan. They are 2,000 miles away and long distance relationships are hard. He is a wonderful young man. But Missie stays so tired from school and volleyball, she doesn't have much energy left to work at a good relationship. So they have parted ways. It is sad, but Missie told him if the Lord wants them together, He will bring them back together. James agreed. Pray for James. He graduates from high school in Dec., and is praying for leadership as to what to do next. He will be 18 on Monday. I pray that the Lord will work it out at least by next fall for him to attend a Bible College. We want God's will in His life and hope someday our paths will cross again. He is the kind of young man we want for our daughter. But we want the one God wants her to have.
Jr. is doing well with his new job. We are so thankful to God for this job! He is drawing a decent paycheck finally, and we praise the Lord.
So that is about all of the news for this time!

I'm glad Missie is feeling better and I am praying that Preston don't get it, ugh! I haven't heard of anyone having H1N1 in our school, so I hope it isn't true, for all our sakes :( --Sorry to hear about Missie and James, but it is true, if God truly wants them together, He WILL work it out! That is what I have always told Jerry...he insists that if we wouldn't have met when we did, we would have never met and he would have remained single, HA! I have always told him, "God wanted us together and He would have seen to it for us to meet some other time"! : ) God has special plans for Missie, she is a great gal!
Yes, there is H1N1 among some of our students at school. Anna has a bad strain of it, and yesterday was really really sick. The other 2 Watson children have also had it.
Others have been very sick, as well. I think Missie had a strain of it, just not one of the bad strains like Anna has.
